Subject: House of Peace and Love Recommendation

Highly recommend Dr. Lopez's House of Peace and Love! Great, safe location in one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in ABQ! There is something for everyone! Beautifully decorated bedrooms in the fabulously decorated main house or your own little private casita! The gardens are fantastic! You can relax on one of the many outdoor sofas/loungers/hammocks while enjoying the sound of a waterfall and the countless beautiful flowering trees and plants. Be amazed by the fabulous desert sunrise or sunset views over the mountains from the rooftop deck. Soak all your stresses away in the 24/7 hot tub. Curl up on one of the many couches next to one of the many fireplaces or fire pits! There's both a 24/7 outdoor kitchen and an indoor kitchen with all the supplies you'll need. But my favorite part of my stay at the House of Peace and Love was Dr. Lopez herself! She is incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from day one! She gladly shared her vast knowledge of fun things to do and see in the area, best local restaurants, as well as suggestions for shopping. No matter if you're looking for a Super Walmart or the upscale shops of Uptown ABQ, everything is close by. My commute to UMNH for a 7p-7a shift was less than 30 minutes and was a much safer place to stay than its immediate surrounding areas. Staying at Dr. Lopez's House of Peace and Love was definitely my favorite part of my travel nurse assignment! I highly recommend you try it too!

A Quantum Homecoming at the House of Peace and Love
Indian Garden Room | March – September

From the moment I arrived at the House of Peace and Love, I could feel something powerful shifting — not just around me, but within me. Nestled in the high desert of Albuquerque, this wasn’t just a place to stay — it was a portal. The Indian Garden Room became my sacred cocoon for six months, a space where I shed layers, healed timelines, and quantum leaped into an entirely new version of myself.

Every detail in the room held intentional beauty — from the vibrant, India-inspired textiles to the peaceful garden just beyond my door, complete with birdsong, wind chimes, and the whisper of the Earth herself. Time softened here. The air felt alive. The space seemed to hold memory, ritual, and quiet magic.

Dr. Suzanne Lopez, the steward of this sanctuary, is not just a host —she is a guide, a midwife for transformation. Her presence alone is healing. Her background as a somatic therapist, artist, and author infused the house with palpable wisdom. Through her, I remembered parts of myself I didn’t even realize I had forgotten. Conversations with her were often soul activations — gentle but seismic.

The gardens on the property are more than beautiful — they are alive with energy. Whether journaling in a hammock under the cottonwoods, stargazing from the hot tub, or sharing stories in the open-air kitchen, each moment felt divinely orchestrated. I communed with Spirit in the soil, in the silence, in the laughter of fellow travelers passing through. I wasn’t alone on this journey — I was held, seen, mirrored, and loved.

By the time September came, I had emerged from this chrysalis a different person — lighter, clearer, and infinitely more aligned. My time at the House of Peace and Love wasn’t just a stay. It was a spiritual initiation. A quantum leap. A remembering.

If you are called here, trust the pull. This is not just a home. It is a temple. And if you’re ready — truly ready — it will change your life.

Love,

Shashwat Chitnis
